Chefmate Mini Fridge Review | Mini Fridge

Here Are What I Like about This Chefmate Mini Fridge: Miserly/Dorm Refrigerator, 1.7 cu. ft, outside dimensions 20.25″Lx17.125″Wx20″D full across temperature guidance freezer cubicle with ice tray CFC-extra refrigerant, UL Listed, 115 VAC

Here Are What I Do NOT Like about This Chefmate Mini Fridge: 1.5 top purchaser rating, very low Voiding narcotic addict comments

    Me Con:

The stipulation of this mundane mini fridge seems to be becoming for keeping your food and drink chilled. Profit it has a freezer chamber and an ice tray – very inviting main attraction for dorm stay and room use.

Unfortunately, the consumer rating is exceptionally low – only 1.5 .  The person feedback is actually pessimistic too.  Here are a few:

“It’s not iciness at all. A bag of ice put in a sham box is colder than this piece. Don’t buy it!!!”

“Bought two Chefmate consolidated refrigerators. Both died after a power outage. Only last about a year each. I’m disaapointed in their attribute and reliability. It goes without saying to say, I’m not buying any more and would not acceptable one to a consociate.”

“I presented four of these coolers to four Nuns in a Convent (9 months ago) to keep beverages poise (i.e. not refrigerated) and I merely replaced another module with a another variety yesterday. I am very disillusioned in these Chefmate ‘thermo electrically’ refrigerated units. I will not foothold another chefmate cooler until the technology becomes more trusted.”

“I bought it for my college dorm office, and while it lasted longer than some other complaints here, it unquestionably spoiled me when I needed it. It no longer blows wheezles air at all! I stand actually overindulgent getting rid of it, but I don’t understand what else to do!”

“My son took it to college and didn’t squeak me it didn’t labour. Now it’s too dilatory – End wised up and stopped selling this break down of throw away. I dearth my $100 back. Reckon I’m sunk. All the other reviews got it absolute – this obsession does not get anything dead. Beverages might be riskless, but comestibles spoils. Goodbye, overpriced cheese.”

Meanwhile, there are a few outright comments with costly 4 leading rating:

“I picked up one of these about 2 weeks ago. The piece was cast-off, but it looks like it was just occupied.

First off, It is NOT A FRIDGE. It is a Cooler. The portion uses thermoelectric cooling. That means, a substitute alternatively of needing a lot of power to carry on a habitual Cooling system with compressor, fan condensor, and evaporator, it uses a slight computer sized fan, and a niggardly chime in.

The denouement is more individual arrange vs. a habitual module, and get this… 65W power use. Thats all.

Its not as approving as a essential fridge, but it will impudent items reversed (beer) 20-30 degrees below flat temp. so if your parliament it 75, its flourishing to give you a beer at 45.

    FAQ: chefmate mini refrigerator

FAQ I have a Chefmate 1.6 Cu.Ft. Stainless Solid Refrigerator and do not know if on the temperature setting if 1 or 8 would be colder.

A: The dial moves from 1 - 8. 1 is the warmest and 8 is the coldest. Start in the mid around 4 and then adjust according to what you like. 8 will freeze milk and orange vigour so i wouldn't put it that high. :)
